BY LEAH BERNHARDT – Opening night for “A Day in the Life of…”, work by Kemit Amon Lewis, was a fantastic way to start of a new season for macheteMACHETE. People were at the door at 5:30 and were still coming in by 8. It was a very appreciating environment filled with family and friends of Kemit, macheteMACHETE and supporters of the arts. People of all ages were getting a kick out of the exotic underwater life on display and everyone was conversing about it over chips and Thomas’ homemade hummus.
Thank you to all those who came out on last Thursday and to those who support the arts, young talent and macheteMACHETE. And Congratulations to Kemit! “A Day in the Life of…” will be displayed until November 12, 2011 so come in and check it out!
